NOMA 2025 Conference & AGM

NOMA is pleased to announce that we will be hosting our 2025 Conference & AGM at the Superior Inn Hotel & Conference Centre in Thunder Bay from April 23rd to April 25th!

The conference theme this year is "Innovation" and will be a great opportunity to provide timely updates, showcase best practices, share local initiatives, network, and provide municipalities with critical knowledge to help them prepare for the changes that are to come.

REGISTRATION: Registration for the 2025 NOMA Conference and AGM will open December 20th at 11am(EST)! Please use this link to navigate to the registration page.

Please note: If you are planning to sponsor or exhibit at the conference do not register for the conference. Please email admin@noma.on.ca and a unique link to register will be provided to you.

Early Bird rates will be available until March 14th at midnight (EST). All ticket sales will end on Friday April 18th, 2025 at 10am (EST).

Refunds will only be granted if the request is made more than 14 days in advance of the event. Eventbrite fees will not be reimbursed at any time. There is $50 cancellation fee. This may be waived at the discretion of the Executive Director. If an attendee is not able to attend, you may substitute their registration for another attendee up to 5 days prior to the event.

Please note that HST will now be added to registration fees.

SPONSORSHIP AND EXHIBITOR BOOTH OPPORTUNITIES:

If you are interested in sponsoring the NOMA Conference, please see our sponsorship package and email the completed form to admin@noma.on.ca. Along with the sponsorship package please provide your logo to be included in our official program and on our website.

If you are interested in exhibiting at the NOMA Conference, please see our exhibitor package and email the completed form to admin@noma.on.ca.

You may also donate to our prize draw or donate a small item to our swag bags. All swag bag donations must be received by April 16, 2025.

Please note: if you are both sponsoring and exhibiting both forms must be completed, even if included in sponsorship package.

Please note that HST will be charged for exhibitor booths this year so it will be $1000+HST. Sponsorships are HST exempt. Any booths that are part of a sponsorship package are also HST exempt.

ACCOMMODATIONS:

Rooms have been blocked at the following hotels and are available until sold out or reach the expire date indicated below. When booking, please indicate that you are booking a room from the NOMA block using the corresponding codes provided. The group rate is available for check in Tuesday April 22, 2025 and check out Friday April 25, 2025.

Valhalla Hotel & Conference Centre: 1 Valhalla Inn Rd. Thunder Bay ON P7E 6J1

Rates vary from $199+tax/night - $249+tax/night - Reservations can be made directly to the hotel by calling (807) 577-1121/ (807) 964-1121 or by emailing: reservations@valhallahotel.ca please use reference Code: 1298336 (Rooms rate available until Friday March 21, 2025)

You MUST have an active credit card to secure your hotel booking. Please note there is airport shuttles available. Please contact the hotel for details. Be sure to confirm the dates you will be staying.
